Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with 5 10 years of progressive accounting experience to support financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure full compliance with accounting standards. This mid-level role plays a critical part in financial reporting, analysis, and organizational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure asset records and registrations are accurate, valid, and up to date
- Perform monthly accounting calculations and process journal entries
- Gather data and support month-end close activities
- Maintain and update accounting records within the ERP system
- Manage and reconcile the general ledger
- Conduct financial and business data analysis; prepare and distribute reports
- Assist in the annual budgeting cycle and monitor compliance with established budgets
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly and annual internal financial statements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Perform monthly revenue analysis and provide variance explanations
- Produce monthly trial balance variance explanations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- 5 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial analysis
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines
