Scope of Position: Highly motivated and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong attention to detail to assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with daily general accounting tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards. Organizes and prioritizes assignments and contributes to the department's ability to meet or exceed goals and standards Demonstrates attention to details and good-record-keeping Hands on detailed oriented task Collaborates with other teams in the organization Demonstrates a proficient level of professional skills and or/knowledge in accounting and keep current with developments and trends Exhibits the knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems to meet work needs Prepares assorted documents and other related materials Processes and applies check payments Assigns and maintains customer master maintenance files Assists with other projects as needed including year-end audit Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested The Accounts Receivable Specialist must possess the minimum knowledge listed below: Associates degree preferred, but not required Three -- Four years of Accounts Receivable experience/booking keeping receivable experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Must be reliable and self-motivated and possess the ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work at all times Must be able to work in stressful conditions under time deadlines Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
