**Job Title: Apprentice Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Electrician who will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in our new construction projects. **Responsibilities** + Run pipe, pull wire, rough walls, and install EMT pipes (1-1.5 inches in diameter). + Ensure precise and neat installation of new wiring and fixtures to maintain steady voltage. + Install switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, appliances, and other elements as the project nears completion. **Essential Skills** + Possess an Apprentice Electrician's License issued by the State of Michigan. + Be a 2nd year apprentice electrician or above. + Experience with running pipe, pulling wire, roughing walls with MC cables, and installing EMT pipes (1, 1.5 inches). + Commercial/Industrial electrical experience. + Ability to read and understand blueprints/schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Verified Apprentice card. **Why Work Here?** Join a small company with competitive pay where the owner believes in minimal micro-management, allowing you the freedom to work independently as long as the job gets done. **Work Environment** This role involves working on a new construction project based in Novi, MI, specifically a 100,000 sq. foot entertainment complex. The job entails installing and building panels, running pipes, pulling wires, installing light fixtures, and roughing walls with MC cables. The project is expected to last until the end of July or early of August, with a possibility of permanent retention for certain candidates. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with potential overtime during the week or on Saturdays, averaging 40-55 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Macomb, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
