You will manage the entire client relationship, from prospecting to delivering value-added solutions that help clients achieve their financial goals. We are seeking a fully qualified and independent professional with strong client relationship skills, extensive product knowledge, and a knack for transaction execution. Key Responsibilities: οΏ½οΏ½

  • Business Development: Aggressively solicit new commercial clients, seeking and obtaining quality new business through proactive client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross-selling efforts. πŸ“ž
  • Networking: Develop and maintain centers of influence (COIs) and actively attend various networking events within the assigned geographic area. Knowledge of the Houston commercial market is highly preferred. πŸŒ†
  • Loan Expertise: Structure and analyze loans, generating a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans typically ranging from $1 million to $10 million . πŸ’²
  • Portfolio Growth: Contribute to deposit growth by cross-selling and promoting additional banking products and services. 🏦
  • Client Management: Anticipate future client needs and seek opportunities to cross-sell into every relationship. πŸ’―

Team Leadership & Mentoring: 👩‍🏫

  • Lead and manage a team by providing consistent training, development, and coaching. 🀝

Qualifications: 📜

  • Education/Certification: A Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field is preferred. 🎓
  • Experience:
    • Bilingual in Spanish is required. 🗣️
    • A minimum of five years of direct lending or credit support-related experience with a focus on business relationships is necessary. 🗓️
    • Formal credit training and/or underwriting knowledge and experience are preferred. 📝
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with sales, loan processing, and closing processes. 📚
    • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking products and services, including a working knowledge of C&I (Commercial & Industrial) and Owner-Occupied and Investment Commercial Real Estate loans. 💡
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. 💬
    • A proven track record of successful business development. 🚀
