Squire Ward's in Seward, NE is looking for one bar/restaurant manager to join our strong team. We are located on 133 N 6th St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday (5 nights per week)

Compensation and Benefits negotiable

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bar/Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee nightly operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise nightly operations of the bar and restaurant
• Create and manage employee schedules
• Hire, train, and, when necessary, terminate staff
• Monitor employee performance and maintain high service standards
• Take inventory and order supplies as needed
• Work on the floor five nights per week, providing hands-on support and ensuring smooth service
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous management or supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain a positive work environment
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures
• Must be available to work evenings Tuesday through Saturday
