Our Home is looking to grow our loyal and driven team and are currently seeking a boxer to join our team of manufacturing professionals on third shift. Our boxer's typical schedule will work Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM. The main responsibility of the boxer is to assemble and move boxes and pallets from one area of the production room to another as needed throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Bring boxes and pallets prior to production and as needed throughout the day from warehouse to packing room.
• Assemble cases confirming correct box used.
• Run boxes through taping machine.
• Monitor code and quality of print on boxes assuring correct information is showing.
• Place boxes on pallet assuring proper count is on each pallet.
• Record time of each pallet and remove from packing room to the warehouse.
• Help maintain clean working area.
• Assist with relieving with break schedules.
• Remove trash and place it in proper container, weight the bucket and dump it.
• Assist in blow down and cleaning during change over.
• Help lead person lift heavy rolls of film if he need it.
• Assist in cleanup and sanitization at end of week cleanup.
• Perform any other duties as directed by Lead Person and Supervisor.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years working in a production or food manufacturing facility
• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.​

• Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment
• Must be able to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a warm/humid environment
• Must be able to work off shifts and be flexible with scheduling.
