We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in inflight operations to support a key initiative related to Flight Attendant contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a flight attendant and a strong understanding of contract language, business processes, and technical systems within the airline industry. This role requires regular travel (approximately 50%) for in-person participation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a consultant to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Analyze customer processes and requirements to develop effective business solutions.
Prepare project documentation in accordance with established standards.
Assist in business process redesign as needed to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Maintain proactive communication with customers, stakeholders, and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Create technically focused user stories for Agile development teams.
Facilitate meetings with technology and business leaders to refine needs and requirements.
Develop workflow models, process maps, and best-practice solutions.
Provide training and knowledge-sharing materials to support business functions.
Consult on compliance adherence and operational improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Prior experience as a flight attendant.
Ability to interpret and apply contract language effectively.
Experience in creating technically focused user stories for Agile development.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Technical background with an understanding of airline operations.
Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for documentation.
Preferred Industry Experience:
Airline industry, specifically within inflight operations and flight attendant roles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in IT and/or business analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to handle confidential information.
Proven ability to work collaboratively, mentor team members, and contribute to a positive team culture.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
