Paladin Drones is revolutionizing emergency response by deploying autonomous drones to 911 calls. Our product, the EXT, extends autonomy and cellular connectivity to third-party drones, all through a unified software interface. About the Role

As a Business Development Manager , you’ll be a key player in driving the company’s growth by generating and qualifying leads, building meaningful relationships, and helping expand our presence in key markets. Whether you’re connecting with potential clients in the thriving business ecosystem of Charlotte or navigating the fast-paced world of NYC, you’ll have an impact from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation : Identify, research, and engage with potential partners through outbound outreach methods, including cold calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Pipeline Development : Qualify leads and nurture them through the sales funnel by understanding their needs and identifying how Paladin’s solutions align with their goals.
  • Collaborative Sales Efforts : Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to develop strategies that drive conversions and revenue growth.
  • CRM Management : Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, leads, and customer interactions in the company’s CRM platform (i.e. HubSpot).
  • Market Insights : Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine outreach strategies and position Paladin as a leader in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience : 1-3 years in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
  • Skills :
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
    • Adaptability to thrive in either Charlotte’s growing business landscape or NYC’s dynamic market.
  • Bonus : Experience in GovTech and/or familiarity with Public Safety
