Job Description

Summary: This Business Development Manager/Airline role drives growth in the U.S. market by developing strategies, analyzing trends, and forging key partnerships across segments such as Corporate, Leisure, and VFR. Expertise in airline market dynamics and relationship management is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute strategies to boost revenue, market share, and profitability, meeting corporate performance targets.
  • Analyze market trends to uncover growth opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, TMCs, OTAs, corporate clients, and other key partners to drive revenue.
  • Manage the Trade Partnership Program to ensure collaborative growth with trade and corporate partners.
  • Monitor KPIs, evaluate sales data, and adjust strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Represent the airline at industry events and trade shows to promote services and strengthen networks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, pricing, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Provide insights and updates to senior management to guide data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development within the airline or travel industry, with proven sales success.
  • In-depth understanding of airline market trends and competition.
  • Expertise in managing trade partnerships and interpreting customer insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Amadeus, and market intelligence tools.
