Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer). **Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** + Prepare and revise 2D and 3D construction drawings using AutoCAD. + Develop site plans, bridge layouts, utility details, erosion control plans, temporary works, and construction staging diagrams. + Assist estimators and engineers in quantity takeoffs, plan interpretation, and means-and-methods drawings. + Produce as-built drawings, logistics plans, and visual aids to support proposals and project execution. + Maintain organized and up-to-date CAD files, templates, and drawing standards. + Conduct occasional site visits to gather field data and verify dimensions. + Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure drawing accuracy and real-world constructability. **Required Qualifications:** + Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. + Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience is a plus). + Strong understanding of civil and structural construction drawings. + Ability to read and interpret DOT standards, plans, and specifications. + Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 2+ years of experience in civil or heavy highway construction drafting. + Experience with structural steel detailing is a strong plus. + Familiarity with bridge construction, shoring, or temporary support designs. + Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Revit or Navisworks. **Compensation:** Competitive wage commensurate with experience.
