Unlock your potential! **Job Summary and Qualifications** As an Echo/Vascular Tech, you will work with a team that considers themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role: + You will, under the direction of the Manager, be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures such as transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, intra-operative echocardiograms within the inpatient, outpatient, or intraoperative settings. + You will provide physicians with complete, accurate anatomical and functional diagnostic information. + You will accurately prepare patients for procedures and correlate patient history with all tests that have been ordered by physicians. + You will follow established surveillance, prevention and control of infection policies and procedures to identify and reduce the risks of acquiring or transmitting infection by use of personal protective measures. + You will expertly perform all ultrasound procedures in assigned specialty service areas utilizing a variety of equipment and techniques in accordance with established clinical practice standards, hospital guidelines and protocols. + You will, with proper training and knowledge of other functions within the cardiology services, may perform other duties related to clinical diagnostic testing and/or operational tasks that manifest a teamwork environment. **What qualifications you will need:** + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer + Must have Cardiac Sonography experience For 150 years, St. Mark's Hospital ( has provided a full-spectrum of healthcare services to Salt Lake City and its surrounding communities.
