Job Title: Chemical Technician (Field Application)
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Chemical Technician with Category 3 certification to join our team in a field application role. The ideal candidate will efficiently complete chemical application routes, provide excellent customer service, and accurately diagnose plant, tree, and turf conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete chemical application routes efficiently and on schedule
Operate fertilizer buggy, tanks, and sprayers safely and effectively
Use tablet devices to clock in/out and log materials accurately
Provide responsive and professional customer service during all site visits
Diagnose site and turf conditions to adjust applications appropriately
Qualifications & Skills:
Category 3 chemical applicator certification required
Valid driver’s license required
Proven experience operating chemical application equipment
Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for work tracking
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
Ability to work independently in field conditions
