Who We Are: Central City Health (CCH) has been serving the underhoused and at-risk population in metro Detroit since 1972, by providing integrated health care services. Our services include primary and pediatric care, dental care, behavioral and SUD care, supportive housing and community re-entry services, to name a few. Qualifications: 

  • Doctorate degree in Medicine required.
  • Valid unrestricted Michigan medical doctor license in the State of Michigan required.
  • Board certified by the American Board of Medicine required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical and executive leadership experience, including responsibility for fiscal and medical staff management required. 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with proven results, strong collaborative, and communications skills.
  • Experience within an integrated care system strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with members exhibiting mental illness, substance abuse, and/or co-occurring behaviors strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of current trends in health care, including physician hospital relations, physician practice models, access issues, quality improvement processes, clinical information systems, and the implications of changing health care environment for medical credentialing are essential.
  • Clinical risk management experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence; hands-on when necessary, and results/outcomes oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow State of Michigan driving laws, evidenced by an insurable driving record; must possess current Michigan driver’s license required.
