Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Chief People Officer for an established company in Raleigh, NC. The Chief People Officer will lead the development and implementation of human resource strategies that support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This role will focus on enhancing the company’s culture, improving employee engagement, and driving organizational effectiveness. This position is primarily all onsite in Raleigh, NC and will require some travel to other offices in NC, SC, NY, and Japan.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee people-related functions to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
  • Develop HR strategies that support the company’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Optimize HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on complex HR issues such as investigations, policy compliance, and employee performance.
  • Lead scalable and impactful people initiatives in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Provide leadership to the People and Culture team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Use HR metrics and data insights to measure success, analyze trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies to mitigate risk and promote integrity.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Skilled in mentoring, delegating, and navigating resource constraints
  • Approachable, open, and trustworthy leadership style
  • This position requires travel up to 15% of the time, including in-state, national, and international travel.
