Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center.
Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications Required: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BLS required.(American Heart Association)
Preferred - Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Certified nursing assistant preferred.
Scheduling Requirements - Day Shift, 36 hours per week, 6 a-6:30p
Essential Functions - The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including phlebotomy and EKG's.
- Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service
- Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions
- Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care
- Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning
