Work Schedule:
Full-time remote position (6-month contract)
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Review and Edit dispute resolutions using checklists to ensure clinical and mathematical accuracy.
Make Clinical and Mathematical Edits to case documentation as necessary.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to refine final product quality.
Proofread content for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and references before release.
Track and analyze error trends to identify areas for improvement and provide staff retraining.
Assist in staff huddles and provide ongoing technical support for the team.
Perform other tasks as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
What You'll Need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Registered Professional Nurse training program.
Licensure: Active New York State RN License (mandatory).
Experience:
2+ years in acute care (medicine/surgery or special care units preferred).
1-3 years in acute care utilization review.
Writing/Editing Skills: Proven proficiency in writing and editing, with a writing sample or publication required.
Technical Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (coding, charting, quality metrics).
Strong proofreading, grammar, and mathematical validation skills.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
