Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Code Welder with oil and gas industry experience to join the team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will be familiar with code-compliant welding per ASME and/or API standards and have experience working on pipelines, pressure vessels, structural components, or process equipment. You will be responsible for executing high-quality welds in accordance with engineering drawings, welding codes, and safety standards.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Interpret and follow welding procedures, blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols

• Perform TIG welding techniques on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials

• Weld components used in pipelines, tanks, pressure vessels, and other oil and gas infrastructure

• Ensure all welds meet ASME Section IX, API 1104, or AWS D1.1 codes (as applicable)

• Conduct or support visual and non-destructive weld inspections (VT, RT, UT, etc.)

• Maintain strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA regulations

• Use cutting tools such as oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutters when needed

What You Bring To The Table:

• Minimum of 3-5 years welding experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial sectors

• Ability to pass performance weld tests

• Strong knowledge of welding codes, procedures, and quality standards

• Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces, at heights, and in all weather conditions
