Construction Project Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Accountant to manage the accounting and invoicing processes for a large, multi-contract construction project. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial tracking, timely invoicing, and efficient management of multiple contracts and invoices.

Construction Project Accountant Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Manage project-related accounting functions, including tracking expenses, budgets, and financial progress.
• Process, review, and manage invoices for multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and company accounting policies.
• Assist with preparing monthly financial reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records for audits and reporting.

Construction Project Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience with construction project accounting or managing multi-contract invoicing is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
