Overview:

The Spa Cosmetologist provides beauty services to clients to include:

• Styling hair: Shampooing, cutting, coloring, and styling hair
• Applying makeup: Assisting clients achieve their desired makeup looks
• Performing manicures and pedicures: Beautifying nails
• Analyzing skin, scalp, and hair: Recommending treatments and services
• Teaching clients: Instructing clients on how to use beauty products
• Scheduling appointments: Managing client appointments

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for welcoming clients and creating a relaxing atmosphere, managing spa appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations.
• Cleaning and disinfecting: Keeping work areas and tools clean and sanitized

• Inventory management: Monitoring and maintaining inventory to ensure they have the necessary supplies
• Cosmetologists also perform other services such as chemical hair treatments, hair and scalp treatments, skin facials, scrubs, and masks, and hair removal. 

Qualifications:

• Six months experience as a Salon Receptionist or similar experience
• Able to obtain licenses required by state law
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Effective communication skills
• Available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
