Job Description
Allstate Crane Rental is in need of a Crane/Trucking Dispatcher with DOT permit experience required.
Qualifications: - DOT permit experience (mandatory).
- MINIMUM 5 YEARS in trucking and dispatch functions.
- Knowledge of the permitting process for oversize loads.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain files.
- Attention to details of dispatch and accounting.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week (with overtime as needed) and perform other related duties as required.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Answer multi-line telephone.
- Coordinate cranes w/ tractor trailers for hauling counterweights & materials.
- Coordinate repairs and PM services with the shop.
- Keep dispatch operations records current.
- Maintain accurate files for DOT regulations and insurance compliance.
- Assist in other activities/duties assigned as needed.
