Position: CRNA Locums Location: Minocqua, WI 54548 Rate: $250 per hour Coverage: Travel, lodging, and medical malpractice insurance provided
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Minocqua, WI. This locum tenens position requires proficiency in administering anesthesia and providing patient care for a variety of cases including obstetrics (OB), pediatrics (Peds), and regional anesthesia. The CRNA will be expected to perform procedures such as intubation, IV placement, and epidurals independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care), general anesthesia, and anesthesia for elective cases.
Operate Drager anesthesia machines and utilize the Omnicell medication dispensing system.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Cerner EMR.
Provide in-house call coverage, ensuring patient care continuity.
Perform epidurals and manage patient anesthesia needs autonomously.
Handle a diverse case mix, including OB, pediatrics, and regional anesthesia.
Work Schedule:
Full-time coverage with clinic hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
In-house call required, with a preference for as much beeper call as possible.
Month on/month off scheduling is available to provide work-life balance.
Qualifications:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current licensure in WI or IMLC
Proficiency in epidural administration and independent practice.
Experience with Drager anesthesia machines, Omnicell medication dispensing systems, and Cerner EMR.
Strong ability to manage a wide range of anesthesia cases independently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
