Data Entry

Location: Lexington, KY

Pay: $15.00 HR & Great Benefits

Schedule: Monday- Friday 6:00am- 7:30pm (8 hour shift + OT maybe required)

About the Role

• Having the availability to accept any schedule within business hours. There will be occasions when it will be necessary to work after the shift’s end to complete the day’s work

• Keying information found on claim forms into the claims program, using the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as a guide

• Matching documents to claim records based on information in the document and criteria found in the SOP.

• Recognizing key words in a document and using those to determine the type of document provided as stated by the SOP.

• Recognizing when work is not flowing correctly in the workflow and communicating that to the Supervisor.

• Reporting any system issues to the Supervisor so that they may be resolved.

• Using the first 2 numbers of a document name item, recognizing what types of documents are available to be processed. Following Standard Turn Around Time guidelines (TAT) will then determine which workflow they should be working.

• Reviewing work graded by Quality in any areas that need improvement. Working with the trainer and SOP to gain an understanding of the errors so that they may maintain a “B” average or higher.

• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft products
• Strong attention to details
• Performs clerical task functions as needed.
• Must Complete and pass a background
• Must be 18 yrs. of age or older.
• Must have a High school Diploma or GED equivalent.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. Job Details:

• Data Entry Operators are responsible for keying and docu-typing medical claims
• Providing Data Entry for medical, hospital and insurance claims

• Comfortable working with high volume workload/environment
• Must be able to type 45 words per minute.
• Previous data entry experience with high accuracy is preferred
