Salary: 115,000– 145,000/year (based on experience) + 15% Annual Bonus (performance-based)

We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to oversee our 34-bed Emergency Department (130+ patients/day). This is a key leadership role for a strategic, results-driven nursing leader who excels in operational excellence, staff development, and patient care innovation.
Lead & Inspire: Oversee daily operations of a 45+ FTE team , ensuring top-tier patient care and regulatory compliance.
Drive Performance: Improve ED metrics (throughput, patient satisfaction, quality outcomes) and implement best practices.
Develop Talent: Mentor, coach, and retain high-performing staff in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Enhance Patient Experience: Lead patient/employee rounding and service excellence initiatives.
Optimize Resources: Manage budgets, staffing, and workflows to maximize efficiency.
Collaborate Strategically: Partner with C-suite, physicians, and cross-functional leaders to achieve organizational goals.
Licensure/Certifications:
Active RN license (FL or compact)
BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC (required)
Experience:
3-5+ years as an Emergency Department Director (acute care setting)
Proven success in improving ED metrics, staff development, and operational efficiency
Education:
Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) required
Master’s (MSN, MBA, MHA) preferred
