Part-Time Drama Teacher - Drama Kids - Metro Detroit Where Imaginations Run Wild and Confidence Takes Center Stage! Pay or Compensation: $25 - $50 per hour, based on experience and dependability. About Us: Drama Kids is not your average after-school program. We “Act Up” with purpose — using creative drama to build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork in kids, all while having a blast. No sets. No auditions. Just imagination, energy, and FUN. What You’ll Do:

• Teach daily creative drama classes (using our proven, super-fun curriculum!
• Build confidence in kids ages 5 -12 in elementary schools or community locations in an around Novi, Northville, Plymouth, Wixom, Canton, Brighton, South Lyon, and Livonia. (Metro Detroit West)
• Lead warm-ups, theater games, mini-scripts, and end-of-year performances.
• Build great, long lasting relationships with parents and students.
• Encourage shy students, spotlight budding stars.
• Be a positive role model and the highlight of their week!

The Details:

• You set the schedule! Part-time: 2 – 6 hours/week, Monday–Friday between 2:00–8:00 PM
• Must be at least 18 years old (state of Michigan requirement)
• We pay for your teacher training once your classes start.
• Opportunities for extra hours (performances, marketing, events, admin, etc.)
• Important: We are hiring for drama classes that start in January 2026. Which means we need to get teachers hired and trained in November and December of 2025, so you will be ready for January classes.

• Have high energy and a big heart for kids
• Love drama (the fun, on-stage kind!)
• Are confident managing a class
• Have reliable transportation
• Bonus points if you have theater or teaching experience (but not required!)
• Can wait until January to start teaching drama classes.
