Job Description Description of the Role We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team at ATC Nassau County. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers to their destinations. Position also requires DSP/Paraprofessional services. Full-time and Part-time needs. Responsibilities

• Operate various vehicles, including cars and vans, to transport goods and passengers
• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods and passengers
• Load and unload cargo as required
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle
• Assisting and providing in-classroom support for students
• Collect data such as goals, outings, and progress notes.
• Complete all required training and attend staff meetings.
• Complete incident reports as necessary
• Perform other DSP functions daily, including providing paraprofessional coverage in classroom

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience as a driver
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• ParaProfessional (DSP) qualifications and experience including:
• AMAP and SCIP certified are preferred.
• 6 months or more of caregiving experience
• Experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
