Job Description Description of the Role We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Drivers to join our team at ATC Nassau County. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers to their destinations. Position also requires DSP/Paraprofessional services. Full-time and Part-time needs. Responsibilities

Operate various vehicles, including cars and vans, to transport goods and passengers
Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods and passengers
Load and unload cargo as required
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle
Assisting and providing in-classroom support for students
Collect data such as goals, outings, and progress notes.
Complete all required training and attend staff meetings.
Complete incident reports as necessary
Perform other DSP functions daily, including providing paraprofessional coverage in classroom

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience as a driver
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
ParaProfessional (DSP) qualifications and experience including:
AMAP and SCIP certified are preferred.
6 months or more of caregiving experience
Experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
