The Designer position will work on a new editorial focused website on victoriassecret.com. Will work with editorial leads, creative and marketing teams to concept and design stories for the site. Strong experience designing in WordPress as well as experience in an editorial space is required. Responsibilities include overseeing the design and consistency of the homepage and article pages, doing photo research, and creating visual executions using existing assets. Candidate should be excited about the brand, have a positive attitude, and excited to learn. Organization and ability to prioritize are critical and must show initiative and ability to work in a team environment under tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience designing for an editorial website
• WordPress design experience
• Ability to create graphic collages and design solutions using existing images
• Photo research skills utilizing a variety of stock sites
• Up to date on latest trends in fashion and social
• Strong communication skills
• Quick thinker and problem solver
• Team player
• Willingness and excitement to learn
• Dedicated to career, seeking a long-term commitment and the want to level up

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years in a Design role/experience preferred. This can include an internship
• Previous fashion editorial experience
• Complete fluency and proficiency in the use of a Mac and Adobe Suite programs.
• Complete fluency in WordPress

• Digital design proficiency (wordpress or comparable CMS experience a plus)
• experience working in an editorial digital site a magazine, blog, etc
• Ability to create hero images and artwork to accompany blog post

• Will primarily work on VS Insider, our blog. This is a single person team and they should be able to work independently and not require a lot of art direction.

Experience creating artwork and collages utilizing existing assets for an editorial website.
