Seeking an EHS Manager in Carrollton

Job Description:

The EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager will oversee and coordinate environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This role includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing safety policies, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Organize and facilitate safety training programs for employees to promote safe work practices.
• Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain EHS records and reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
• Work with external agencies and consultants on EHS-related matters.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may affect company operations.
• Lead efforts to create a positive safety culture within the organization.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, or a related field.
• Professional certification in safety or environmental management (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in the beverage or manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of implementing successful EHS programs and initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
