**Job Title: Electrical Mechanic & Junior Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanics and Junior Mechanics skilled in bending pipe with a hand bender (90's, 45's, offsets, saddles), troubleshooting panels, and pulling wire and BX cable. The role involves reading blueprints and schematics, as well as bending conduit. This position will require work on Long Island on commercial buildings, including office spaces, health and wellness centers, and recreation centers. **Responsibilities** + Pull wire, run pipe, and hang pipe in accordance with blueprints or adjust to obstructions. + Work independently or with a helper to ensure accurate execution of tasks. + Troubleshoot any electrical problems encountered on site. + Bend commercial pipe accurately and efficiently. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency as an Electrician, Lead Electrician, Electrical Foreman, Journeyman Electrician, Jr. Electrician, or Full Mechanic. + Experience in bending pipe, working with BX cable, and reading blueprints. + Ability to troubleshoot smoke alarms, panels, EMT, and conduit. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 30 certification. + Possession of PPE and electrical hand tools. + Proficiency in using a cordless drill. **Why Work Here?** This role offers long-term permanent employment with opportunities for growth in high-profile projects, especially in medical facilities. Work hours start at 7:00 am, with readiness expected by 6:45 am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Patchogue, NY. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
