Hiring Department

The School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics

The School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics are pleased to announce the opening for a Finance & Accounting Analyst The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department's mission and goals for our finance team.

  • Handles the fiscal transactions for the Department of Pediatrics as it relates to management of grants and awards.
  • Reporting through a variety of different tools including ad hoc reporting.
  • This position works closely with leadership teams in the department to train them on financial oversight of their respective division.
  • Prepares monthly financial reports using the department guidelines to be sure the proper documentation is on file for transactions.
  • Training and troubleshooting on finance applications including reports and requisitions,
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation reports.
  • Works directly with research faculty to facilitate purchases and manage grant funding.
  • Prepare JED funding changes or ePAF's for hiring, job changes, and terminations for personnel within the department.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all awarded and proposal submissions of grants and contracts.
  • Provide support and input to the department budgeting effort via department discussions and through data entry into budgeting software.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range
