Finish Carpentry Specialist

Build beautiful spaces in Emerald Isle, NC. As a Finish Carpentry Specialist, you’ll shape the final look and feel of residential and commercial interiors—turning plans into polished details that elevate every project.

A day in the life

Your morning starts on-site reviewing drawings and confirming measurements. You’ll move from room to room installing crisp baseboards, elegant crown profiles, and precise window and door casings. Throughout the day, you’ll coordinate with other trades to keep schedules tight, adjust cuts to match real‑world conditions, and check every joint for a seamless finish. You’ll wrap up by cleaning your station, maintaining your tools, and communicating progress to the team and client.

Core responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain interior trim: baseboards, crown molding, window/door casings, and related finish components.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to meet exact specifications and site conditions.
• Collaborate with contractors and fellow trades to ensure smooth, on-time execution.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine requirements.
• Deliver work to high standards of quality and safety on every task.
• Keep tools and equipment in proper working order.
• Communicate clearly with clients and teammates, providing updates and addressing concerns.

What you bring

• Proven experience in finish/trim carpentry.
• Strong command of carpentry techniques, materials, and finish details.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Resourceful problem-solver who can work independently.
• Physical stamina for hands-on work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
