Vision: Ability to pass a medical exam based on NFPA 1582 Medical Requirements for Firefighters
Necessary Certifications
Accredited NFPA Firefighter 1 (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
NWCG Wildland Firefighter 2 (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
Washington State or NREMT Paramedic (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED Certificate. Must possess a valid insurable Washington Drivers License, or ability to obtain; posses a driving record that meets BCFD#2 standards
