Job Location: Shreve, Ohio

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift or similar powered industrial equipment to move, stack, store, and track materials. This role may also involve Order Filler and Checker duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound shipments and transport products to designated storage areas.
• Stack and store materials efficiently and accurately.
• Verify accuracy and condition of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Report any quality or product variances.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct product count and type.
• Meet customer service and productivity standards while performing picking tasks.
• Load and unload materials into trailers or rail cars.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, or other powered equipment to move, stage, and stack product.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Follow proper stock rotation procedures.
• Support warehouse security and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience required.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, division).
• Ability to read and follow pick orders and staging instructions.
• Must complete and pass forklift evaluations and maintain a valid operator’s license.
• Must be able to complete daily pre-shift inspection forms.
