Position: General Manager of Operations

Responsibilities:

Drive Technician Efficiency:

• Ensure technicians stay on task by having a solid understanding of job durations.
• Implement and monitor efficiency metrics to improve productivity.

Increase Financial Performance:

• Increase revenue and improve overall financial performance.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Leverage experience in selling services to fleets and businesses. Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Develop and Manage Technicians:

• Oversee the learning and development of technicians.
• Interviewing and hiring new technicians.

Front Office Management

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of estimates and billing conducted by the service writers.
• Ensure service writers maintain consistent and clear communication with customers throughout the repair process.

Preferred Background:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Heavy Duty/Diesel Technician.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Experience managing a heavy-duty shop, specifically working on Class 7 and 8 trucks.
• Proven track record in sales within the automotive or heavy-duty truck repair industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with shop management systems, preferably Mitchell1, and a base knowledge of QuickBooks.

• We work on primarily Class 7 and 8 trucks, with some medium and light-duty vehicles.

• Shift/Hours On Site: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
