Job Description
Position: General Manager of Operations
Responsibilities:
Drive Technician Efficiency:
- Ensure technicians stay on task by having a solid understanding of job durations.
- Implement and monitor efficiency metrics to improve productivity.
Increase Financial Performance:
- Increase revenue and improve overall financial performance.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Leverage experience in selling services to fleets and businesses. Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Develop and Manage Technicians:
- Oversee the learning and development of technicians.
- Interviewing and hiring new technicians.
Front Office Management
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of estimates and billing conducted by the service writers.
- Ensure service writers maintain consistent and clear communication with customers throughout the repair process.
Preferred Background:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Heavy Duty/Diesel Technician.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Experience managing a heavy-duty shop, specifically working on Class 7 and 8 trucks.
- Proven track record in sales within the automotive or heavy-duty truck repair industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working with shop management systems, preferably Mitchell1, and a base knowledge of QuickBooks.

- Shift/Hours On Site: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
