Hairstylist / Personal Assistant

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and creative Hairstylist / Personal Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting a busy stylist with both salon and personal tasks. It’s a great opportunity for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of the beauty industry and grow their career alongside an established professional.
Responsibilities
· Assist with client preparation and hair services
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of salon workspaces
· Manage scheduling, errands, and personal assistant duties as needed
· Contribute to social media content creation and marketing efforts
· Support events, travel, and projects as needed
· Take initiative to anticipate needs and ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
· Licensed cosmetologist
· Reside in the Chicagoland area
· Reliable transportation (must have a car)
· Flexible schedule and availability
· Social media savvy and creative
· Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
· Positive attitude and strong team player
· Willingness to perform both hair-related and personal tasks
· Commitment of at least 2 years
· Successful completion of a 30 day trial period
Preferred
· Previous salon experience (not required)
· Familiarity with content creation and social platforms
