Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Associate
Location: Cranbury, NJ
Hours: M–F, 8am - 4pm (some flexibility start / end time); Onsite
Type: Contract, 1 year, potential for direct hire
Pay Rate: $36–$40 per hour

Role Overview
Seeking an Associate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) to support manufacturing operations by implementing policies, conducting audits, ensuring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures

• Conduct inspections, audits, and incident investigations

• Support training, risk analysis, and regulatory compliance

• Track and analyze Health, Safety, and Environmental data for continuous improvement

• Recommend program improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Health, Safety, and Environmental, Industrial / Environmental Engineering, Safety, or related field

• 0–5 years of Health, Safety, and Environmental experience; experience such as co-op, internship, or professional work experience; experience in manufacturing environment ideal.

• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental principles, risk assessment, GMP, OSHA or COMAH

• Strong communication, training, and MS Office skills

Preferred Experience

• Pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, food industry, flavor fragrance, oil / gas, specialty chemicals or similar fields

• Experience with GMP and regulated Health, Safety and Environmental standards

• Driving safety culture and sustainability initiatives
