SunZia Power Plant Project - Increased Wage (Please Read Full Ad)

We have a unique opportunity for those interested in earning more per hour with additional travel to job site! This job won't require anyone onsite until July 22nd. This job is roughly 40 miles from our office in Chandler and about a hour drive. Looking forward to your application! NO OUT OF STATE APPLICANTS. (Unless you are willing to relocate yourself. We will not be offering per diem. This is a wage increase only for this job site.)

NOTE: We will not pay for relocation fees, hotel stays, etc. This is not per diem as much as it is an increased wage when you are assigned to this job for travel. The expectation is that you are in Arizona and willing to travel to the job site for an additional pay increase.

Your Purpose in this Role

We are one of the top premier Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Contractors in the state of Arizona. We are looking for growth-motivated and self-starting individuals who value efficiency , reliability , and family .

The SunZia project is located in Coolidge Arizona. All employees assigned to this project will earn an additional $10 per hour added to their given hourly wage. We do have some specific requirements for the role such as, 4 years minimum experience in Sheet Metal Installation and OSHA 10 or 30 requirements. This opportunity won't be for everyone, but those who are interested and willing to drive to this job site will earn more than general wages here in the valley.

Pay

$25 to $35 - Pay Rate Determined in Interview.

The above pay rate does not include the increased pay differential of $10. Your payrate will be set in the interview and hours spent on this project will allow you to earn an additional $10 per hour added to your set payrate.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal components, including ductwork, roofing, siding, and other metal products, according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
• Accurately measure and mark sheet metal materials for cutting, using tools such as tape measures, rulers, and shears. Cut and shape sheet metal using various cutting equipment to meet project dimensions.
• Assemble and fabricate sheet metal components, including joining seams, welding, and soldering, to create a finished product that meets quality standards.
• Lay out and position sheet metal components based on project drawings and specifications, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to design requirements.
• Secure sheet metal components in place using appropriate fasteners, adhesives, welding, or soldering techniques. Ensure that all fastenings are done securely to withstand environmental conditions.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project goals are met. Communicate any issues or challenges that may affect project timelines.
• Work effectively as part of a team, assisting colleagues and sharing knowledge and skills to accomplish project goals efficiently.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a HVAC Journeyman in the commercial sector.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude.
• Punctual and Dependable.
• OSHA 10 or 30 is a requirement to work on this job site.
