Reports to the President on all matters but for litigation and HR to which they report to the General Counsel of the parent company, the General Counsel will assist in providing legal services as directed, as well as in supervising the work of outside counsel. The General Counsel will focus primarily on real estate transactions covering a variety of issues, including, but not limited to, litigation, risk mitigation, partnership agreement and contract review and analysis, drafting of, various investment documents and ensuring compliance with Company policies and laws, as well as advise on a broad range of legal issues for the organization, including, but not limited to, securities, environmental and tax laws, accounting issues, corporate, governance and intellectual property.
