Location: Healthcare Facilities Across NJ, NY & Upstate NY

Shift: Night Shift

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse is responsible for delivering critical nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions. Working in a high-acuity setting, the ICU Nurse closely monitors patients, administers treatments, and responds to medical emergencies during the night shift.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients, responding swiftly to changes in condition.
• Administer and titrate IV medications, including vasopressors and sedatives.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced ICU equipment such as ventilators, central lines, and cardiac monitors.
• Implement evidence-based interventions for patients requiring mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic stabilization.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding critical illness and care plans.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, medication safety, and ICU-specific protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a major acute care hospital.
• Strong proficiency in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency response protocols.

• Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification (Preferred)
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

• Location: Healthcare facilities across New Jersey
• Hours: 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts)
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift Availability: Night Shift
• Requirements: Every other weekend, holiday shifts required, no on-call

• English (Speak, Read, Write)
