Lineage Merchant Partners is seeking a dedicated cannabis investment banking associate or analyst to join our team at Lineage Merchant Partners. Our firm provides M&A, capital raising, and corporate advisory services to leading companies in the cannabis industry. Responsibilities

1. Support our investment banking team in the execution of M&A, capital raise, and other strategic transactions.
2. Assist in preparation of confidential information memos, pitch materials, and presentations.
3. Develop and maintain complex financial models to perform various financial and valuation analyses.
4. Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research.
5. Play a key role in supporting origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal execution.
6. Occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree required with a major in business, finance, accounting, or economics preferred.
2. Minimum of 1-5 years of previous experience in investment banking.
3. Ability to satisfy regulatory requirements.
4. Quantitative and data-based skills, including experience in valuation and financial modeling.
5. Ability to learn quickly and manage several projects at once.
6. Must reside in or around the Los Angeles or Philadelphia areas and be able to commute to the office.
7. Willing to maintain a hybrid schedule of at least 3 days in office.
