Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business. You will be mainly accountable for: • Preparing financial modelling for various "what if" scenarios and the overall impact on the organization. • Assisting in the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. • Validating the accuracy of financial data, business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviews of exceptions. • Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations. • Optimizing performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements. • Support and shadow IS Finance team to deliver requirement within function. • Mentoring and networking opportunities. • Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions.
Qualifications for the role
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in finance, accounting, or related field in the United States.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
