POSITION: JOURNEYMAN OR WELL-QUALIFIED APPRENTICE LINEMAN

Erect, maintain, or repair overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems and substations; where necessary, frame and erect poles and attach necessary fixtures and equipment; string, sag and splice conductors (wires) and connect transformers and other equipment; trim tree, replace such equipment as broken insulators, split crossarms, cutouts, ties, faulty clamps or braces; perform similar replacement or repair work as necessary to clear up storm damage. Must learn to use electrical instruments, to operate hydraulic equipment and to work out of an aerial basket. Perform these and such other related work in a manner consistent with all Company safety rules and use equipment and protection as required. This sentence does not supersede the provisions of the Labor Agreement
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a thorough knowledge of electric line construction, maintenance and repair. Must be able to work outdoors in any weather, be able to climb, have complete knowledge of all safety rules and be capable of getting along well with others.
