Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of commercial leases including reviews, renewals, amendments, terminations, and negotiations.
Coordinate execution of lease agreements with attorneys, brokers, landlords, and contractors.
Track key lease dates and ensure compliance with timelines and terms.
Maintain lease data and financial records in accounting/lease systems (e.g., Visual Lease, LeaseQuery, or ERP).
Serve as the first point of contact for all landlord communication and issue resolution.
Support the review and processing of acquisition-related documents such as Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs).
Assist the accounting department with rent reconciliation and ensure timely, accurate payments.
Maintain an organized and accessible repository of lease and legal documentation.
Assist with documentation and coordination needs during due diligence for acquisitions.
Provide regular internal reporting on lease obligations and portfolio insights.
Qualifications:
3–7 years of experience in lease administration, real estate contracts, paralegal support, or legal operations.
Experience coordinating with attorneys, landlords, brokers, and real estate professionals.
Strong working knowledge of commercial lease structures, legal clauses, and negotiation protocols.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with lease management or accounting software a plus.
Experience in acquisitions or corporate legal documentation preferred.
Must be able to work on-site at the Normal, IL office.
Compensation:
$60-80K based on experience and qualifications.
Bonus:
10%- 15% annual performance-based bonus (recommended)
