BASIC FUNCTION:

 

Samuel & Sons Passementerie seeks a hands-on, strategic Marketing Manager to oversee all internal and external communications worldwide. In this full-time managerial role, you will ensure that brand messaging remains consistent and aligned with our voice while driving awareness, engagement, and business growth.

Reporting to the Executive Creative Director and working under the supervision of the VP of Design, you will play a key role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new collections and product launches. Your responsibilities will include overseeing digital marketing and social media, managing PR agency relationships, analyzing marketing campaign data, and optimizing budgets to maximize impact.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across multiple departments—including Product Development, Creative, and Sales—and engage with external PR agencies. You will be instrumental in shaping the brand’s reputation, increasing visibility, and driving traffic to showrooms and online during an exciting period of growth.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work closely with the Creative and Product Development teams on the practical and timely execution of campaigns and new product introductions, both online and offline, including social, digital, press, events, sales team outreach, etc.

· Develop and implement product marketing strategies to drive engagement and visibility for key launches.

· Create and manage marketing tools to support sales teams, flagship locations, and representative showrooms worldwide.

· Maintain strong communication with sales teams, partners, and collaborators to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.

· Plan and oversee budgets for branded materials and giveaways.

· Collaborate on the development of product literature and performance-driven marketing assets.

· Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance to optimize strategies.

· Manage the editorial content calendar, aligning product launches, trade events, and campaign execution—including collaborations with designers and brand partners.

· Work cross-functionally with Sales and Product Development to ensure a 360-degree approach to all major marketing initiatives.

· Oversee external communications and brand messaging as needed.

· Manage and collaborate with the Digital Marketing Coordinator to drive social strategy and support PR agency partnerships, blending brand storytelling with product-driven content.

· Implement SEO best practices to enhance brand visibility and content discoverability.

· Ensure timely execution of marketing projects, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.

· Attend industry events, trade shows, and showroom activations to support brand presence.

· Oversee daily marketing operations and contribute to special projects as assigned by Senior Management.

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

· 4+ years in brand and/or retail marketing, with at least 2 years managing direct reports.

· Proven track record in marketing communications and PR within luxury goods, interior design, or related industries.

· Ability to develop and execute brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and PR initiatives that drive engagement and business growth.

· Strong ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketing data to inform strategies and optimize campaign performance.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling brand messaging and present insights effectively.

· Experience working cross-functionally with sales, creative, product development, and external agencies, fostering strong partnerships.

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to learn and adopt new marketing and analytics tools.

· Ability to generate innovative ideas that align with brand identity and business objectives.

· Agile and resourceful in navigating challenges, with a solutions-oriented mindset.

· Flexibility to attend industry events and occasionally work outside typical business hours when necessary.

· This is a full-time, in-house position at the Los Angeles Creative Studio.
