Medical Billing Manager

As a Medical Billing Manager, you will play a key role in leading and improving the medical billing and revenue cycle processes. You will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving efforts to optimize cash flow and billing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and guidance to the medical billing team, supporting them in procedures and troubleshooting challenges.
Oversee the timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance companies.
Monitor payment processes, including denials and adjustments, ensuring timely resolutions.
Ensure patient accounts are billed and resolved in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations, including HIPAA standards.
Stay updated on changes in coding, billing, and insurance regulations to ensure adherence.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances and improve accounts receivable management.
Analyze billing metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and drive process improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and improve overall revenue cycle efficiency.
Investigate and resolve any escalated billing issues or disputes, working with both patients and insurance providers.
Partner with coding teams to ensure proper documentation and claim accuracy.
Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to management, offering insights and recommendations to enhance billing processes and profitability.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
Strong leadership experience in managing teams.
Must be a resident of New York State.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 115,000.00 135,000.00 Per Year
