The Missionary Mobilization Specialist guides new and potential missionaries through a discovery experience, offering individualized mentorship, discipleship, and care as they explore missionary roles with East-West. They proactively recruit and mobilize long-term overseas missionaries and stateside ministry workers, fostering their spiritual, relational, and emotional health throughout the coaching and assessment process. A key aspect of this role is gaining a deep understanding of the factors that impact missionary health, as well as promoting resources and collaborations to prepare applicants. The specialist also represents the organization at various events and collaborates extensively with field ministry leaders and internal contacts.
