MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER (Permanent) Our client, an established nonprofit in WNY, is looking to hire a Mortgage Loan Officer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the mortgage loan (first mortgage and home equity loans) process from start to completion/approval (i.e., originate and process mortgage loan applications)
• Provide educated advice to clients regarding all possible rates, options, and terms, guiding each through the application process
• Answer any questions clients may have throughout the process, ensuring they remain well-informed at all times
• Gather/analyze financial data and run credit evaluations on prospective clients for eligibility
• Utilize analysis outcomes to appropriately recommend loan products to clients, making adjustments when necessary
• Work closely with the underwriting and closing teams to ensure loans are being processed in a timely manner
• Ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate, maintaining impeccable client files
• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients and business partners, ensuring seamless and positive experiences
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines
• Work well in a team environment, as well as independently
• Complete special projects in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

• Position is full-time, direct hire
• 100% in-office, M-F 9:00 – 5:00; some evening/weekend community events may be required
• $65,000 - $75,000 annually depending on experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related preferred
• NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) registration preferred
• 5+ years’ experience in mortgage loan processing, origination
• Must understand all banking rules and regulations
• Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Relocation not available
