Motion Designer
FULL TIME/ HYBRID / SAN DIEGO, CA

THE WORK

• Design dynamic motion graphics, including titles/supers, explainer animations, and social content
• Translate storyboards/creative direction into engaging, effective motion

• Implementing sound and visual effects (VFX) to effectively contribute to a story

• Incorporate changes recommended by our internal teams and clients into the final content
• Keeping up-to-speed with the latest trends, big ideas, and innovations in content marketing 

Requirements

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

• 3-4 years of motion design experience, preferably at an agency
• Super creative
• Strong understanding of foundational design principles, including composition, color theory, illustration, and typography
• Proficient in Adobe CC; specifically, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience in Cinema 4D/Blender
• Effortlessly navigates key frames, null objects, basic After Effects scripting, compositing, and 3D space
• Positive, humble, collaborative demeanor with a solutions-based attitude 
• Stays organized, able to prioritize, and multitask
• Detail-oriented
• Able to work nimbly and pivot when needed 
• Constant learner

• $60,000 - $70,000 DOE
