Job description: New Model Evaluation Intern What You Will Do:
  • Test and evaluate Chassis/PT/EL/INFO concerns for new vehicle models and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Investigate/support testing and evaluation of Chassis/PT/EL quality issues on Hyundai, Genesis, or Kia vehicles responding to requests from Hyundai Motor Group, sales affiliates, vehicle assembly plants, and sudden increases in warranty claims
  • Conduct on-site investigations to collect subjective and objective data during driving to identify concerns to perform root cause analysis
  • Basic knowledge of Chassis/PT/EL fundamentals including NVH, Steering, Ride & Handling, Brakes, EV System, ADAS, Infotainment, etc.
  • Ability to provide support in collaboration with other groups/affiliates of test plans for the various quality tests done for new models
  • Engineering analysis and research results for 'lessons learned' on current and future models
  • Benchmark competitive vehicles to research differences and improve HMG vehicle systems
  • Conduct vehicle audits for Hyundai & Kia models during developmental stages and after vehicle launch
  • Create and present technical and weekly reports as assigned
  • Perform additional projects as assigned

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Valid Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record
