Full Time, 40 hours per week
Base Salary - $48,000 - $65,000 annually
Report to: General Manager, Operations Supervisor
Location: Redmond, WA
What we're looking for…
-Maple Lane Logistics is currently looking for candidates with around 1-3 years of experience in the ocean freight/logistics import/export industry. (CY/CY, INTERMODAL, DRAYAGE, CY/DOOR)
-Must have experience in customer service, strong attention to detail, good time management, and strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-The Freight Forwarder is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper and timely movement of international shipments.
About the Position
Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
-Handles and owns the entire shipping process of assigned shipments.
-Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments daily.
-Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry.
-Transfers information from email instructions and a variety of shipping documents into cloud Excel spreadsheet, Company systems, and cloud files.
-Maintains effective communication with customers, vendors, other Maple Lane offices, and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls, and verbal contact.
-Prepares shipping documents before sending to customers.
-Monitoring of reports daily.
-Ensures accurate and timely billing to customers.
-Understands the operational process flow and constantly seeks improved ways for efficiency.
-Protects confidential information of all customers and the Company
Qualifications
-Excellent track record of customer service
-Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
-Excellent organization skills.
-Time management and prioritization skills.

-Ability to multi-task effectively.
-Requires minimum supervision.
-Ability to work under pressure.
Looking for candidates with good follow-up abilities, strong organizational skills, and email communication skills.
Education & Experience
-1-3 years of freight forwarding experience, preferably in ocean import or ocean export
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.
-Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree
