What You'll Do Here:

  • Set-up, operation, and maintenance of all necessary robotic and manual hydrodemolition equipment and associated high-pressure pumps, hoses, and in-service equipment in accordance with operational and training guidelines and safety  procedures
  • Perform robotic and manual hydrodemolition activities in strict accordance with the approved work package and outlined quality control requirements and inspections. 
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and practices 
  • Manually clean, install, fit and repair valves, caps, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment components used for robotic and manual hydrodemolition equipment
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any task. Inform supervision of any deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, and lost productivity

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 3 years of hands on experience operating automated hydrodemolition equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must understand and follow verbal and written instructions 
  • OSHA 10
  • Valid state issued Drivers License
  • U.S Citizen with clean background.  Able to obtain and maintain clearance and badging at a Department of Energy facility
  • Pass an observed Urinalysis and Breathalyzer

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned 
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Physically capable of standing and or walking continuously for long periods of time 
  • Physically capable of climbing, balance, bending, stooping, and kneeling continuously
  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in a loud, wet and hazardous construction site environment
  • Able to pass a respiratory fit test if required to wear a respirator
